Wake Up India movie reviews (2013),
Cast: Chirag Patil, Sai Tamhankar,Mohan Joshi, Mukesh
Tiwari, Milind Gunaji
Direction: Babloo Seshadri
Genre: Drama
Duration time: 2.8 hours
Story: A young lady ( Sai Tamhankar) stages challenge
against the framework, when cops decline to cabin a protestation against the
seventy five-year-old Chief Minister, who purportedly assaulted her.
The denounced clergyman not one or the other denies, nor
responds to the assertions, while the young lady and her attorney ( Chirag
Patiei) stick to their announcement. The outrage sends the media &
different political gatherings into free for all. Mahila mandals and
restriction party parts stoke the flame, while the decision party parts revile
the CM, dreading they may lose control because of the debate. Be that as it may
is the young lady talking reality?
Audit: Given the frightful assault cases that have happened
in later past, Balatkar is excessively solid a statement to be tossed around
generously, regardless of the fact that its carried out to uncover the
incompetency of our degenerate legislators. Excepting that, the movie has its
heart in the opportune spot. It figures out how to convey a solid message to
unapproachable netas, who overlook their obligations, the minute they gain
power. In any case is 'great purpose' enough for a movie, which wants to
achieve an upset?
News of cops declining to hotel a FIR, legislators making
beguiling talks to the poor for votes, powerless cops aimlessly after orders...the
issues raised here are substantial however the execution is youthful.
A little harshness could be pardoned, given the dialogs are
sensible and reasonable. Over-overstated lines like, "Reporting ek
courageous occupation hai, sab pimp hai, usne assault kiya kaise hoga'makes
everything resemble a joke. Exhibitions are fair, while the messy creation
quality reduces the effect of a story which in a perfect world had potential.
The greatest downside of this socio-political dramatization
is the way that we don't end up sympathizing with the characters. They don't
inspire us enough to talk up either. The movie has a deeper message to it than
denouncing assault and attackers. It keeps us speculating. Tragically, this
entire 'regular man's battle' appears to be excessively straightforward a
battle and consequently unconvincing.
